When the notebook connects
The notebook runs on your machine. It connects to our server in three precise cases, and never for anything else.
On activation. The first opening requires a connection to check your licence key. Once activated, the key is stored.
During use. The notebook periodically checks that your licence is still valid and that only one session is open at a time. If the network drops, the server errors or the response is incomplete, the notebook keeps working normally: it never locks over a connection problem.
For updates. During that same check, the notebook compares its version to the one published. If a newer version exists, a "New version · Download" banner appears. You download and replace the file yourself. Nothing updates behind your back.
What never leaves. Your clients, your invoices, your amounts, your documents. No data entered in the notebook is sent to our server, or to anyone. No tracking, no telemetry, no tracking cookies.
What Invoice Studio does not do
Invoice Studio is not an electronic invoicing platform. It transmits no invoice to a tax authority and does not replace an approved platform.
In France, your invoices to businesses will have to go through an approved platform from 1 September 2027. You must also designate one from 1 September 2026 to receive your suppliers' invoices: that is a registration, independent of the tool you use to issue them.
Belgium, Italy, Poland, Brazil, Turkey, South Korea: business-to-business invoicing must go through the national platform. Invoice Studio is not suitable for your professional clients in those countries.
Invoicing to individuals: none of these obligations apply, in any of the 14 countries.

What happens after my purchase?
You immediately receive an email with the Invoice Studio file attached. You open it in your browser, it works right away, with no account or installation.
Is it really a one-time payment?
Yes. EUR 279 once, and the file is yours forever. No renewal, no future debit, no hidden tier.
Multiple machines, multiple collaborators?
The file is shared like any document: Dropbox, Drive, NAS. On each open, the state is restored from the file.
Support and updates?
The file is yours for lifetime use, no server dependency. Bug fixes and minor improvements are included in your purchase. Support is handled by email, reply within 24 business hours.
